Speakers:

Matt Faiello is a Technical Marketing Engineer (TME) in the UCS Computing Systems Product Group (CSPG) supporting UCS Central, UCS Director and emerging Data Center technologies. Matt is especially focused on UCS Central and managing large UCS Infrastructures at scale. He has recently reworked the UCS Central dCloud Learning and Test Environment as well as supported Video On-Demand (VODs) tutorials showing and explaining advanced UCS Central management principles, and brings this expertise to Cisco Live. For the past 20+ years, Matt has supported large-scale operations and IT infrastructures. Matt graduated from the US Military Academy at West Point, and subsequently served as a US Army Fire Direction Officer in the First Gulf War. He then worked for Lockheed Martin as well as several Defense Contractors, then transitioned to commercial work at Computer Associates (CA) as a Solutions Architect specializing in Enterprise Management Software. In late 2006, Matt returned to his military roots, and worked in Baghdad Iraq as a Network Analysis engineer in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF). After returning home from combat zone work, Matt worked as a Solutions Architect for L-3 Communications at US Central Command at MacDill AFB, Tampa, FL. Matt worked on the architecture and development of a large-scale enterprise management platform to support Operations OIF and OEF. Matt joined the Cisco UCS (Project California Team) in early January, 2008. As part of Cisco Advanced Services, Matt worked many onsite UCS and UCS Central projects with large clients. In early 2015, Matt joined the Cisco UCS Engineering CSPG as a Technical Marketing Engineer supporting UCS and UCS Central.

David Nguyen is a Technical Marketing Engineer with UCS focusing on data center fabrics, compute, virtual I/O and virtualization. In his current role, David helps drive the technical strategy and is a technology evangelist for the business unit. He also works closely with customers on designing, building, and maintaining data center. He is a Routing and Switching CCIE (CCIE 8013). Prior to his current role, David has held various positions across many different disciplines in networking such as an IT administrator, support, sales and marketing. David has authored best practice guides and technical guides on implementing and deploying campus and data center networks.
